Number 1 Tip for Weight Loss

Number 1 Tip for Weight Loss

Number 1 Tip

Here’s my #1 tip. Stop relying on tips.

They are rarely useful. If they were, I’m not sure my job would be necessary. Just Google “tips for weight loss, “tips for getting shredded abs,” “tips for getting to the gym more often.” If you are interested in fat burning read this Resurge Review.

All the advice you’ll ever need to change your life is out there, so why are so many people still struggling?

There’s something preventing you from taking action, and my guess it is fear. Fear doesn’t always manifest as rapid heart rate, shaking uncontrollably or feeling panicked. Fear can be rampant in your mind. If you do not have any idea how to start, check out these tips from certified personal trainer Adam Kemp to learn about the fastest way to drop 20 pounds.

What if I start and fail?
I don’t know how to meal prep, will that kill my progress?
What if I look totally lost at the gym?
What if I write something everything thinks is awful (asking for a friend)?

Safe isn’t safe, safe is risk.

I get it. It’s safer on the sidelines and we do things to stay there we may not even realize. I’ll start once all my questions are answered. Once I figure out what to eat and when to eat, then I’ll start tracking. I need to lose a little weight before I’ll step foot in a gym.

We think safe is easy but it’s not. Safe is risky. It keeps us from being the people we want to be.

At 16-years-old Richard Branson dropped out of school with a learning disability. As the story goes on his last day of school, his headmaster famously told Branson he’d either, ‘end up in prison or become a millionaire’. Now he controls more than 400 companies and is easily one of the world’s richest men.

What made him successful is that he didn’t let his knowledge and experience or lack there of get in the way of starting. “Screw it. Just get on and do it,” he said.

Life is so often about getting started and figuring it out as you go.

If you are on the fence, ask yourself why. Is it because you really need more information or because you are afraid that you’ve tried so many other things in the past and this will be more of the same? Or are you afraid what someone else will think? Are you waiting for a guarantee?

If we’re honest with ourselves, there are a lot of first steps in life that are super scary, but one of the scariest is never becoming the person you know you can be. Reach out and take that first step!
